The Ndukwe foundation has helped to improve the lives of hundreds of children and families in the Greater Cincinnati and Columbus, Ohio Areas. The organization has generated over a hundred thousand fundraising dollars and helped tackle child obesity by creating wellness programs and starting youth leagues to encourage athletics.

The Ndukwe Foundation believes in family. A family of first generation Nigerians, Stephen and Nnenna Ndukwe raised their children to make the most of every opportunity, while instilling strong family bonds and emphasizing education. From a young age, they learned the value of hard work, studying and being active. Together, Kelechi, Ikechuku, Chinedum and Ezinne work to impart these values to today's youth.

Kelechi attended the University of Notre Dame on a Navy ROTC scholarship, and has remained in the military for 10 years - recently promoted to Captain of a Minesweeper. He received his Masters Degree from the United States Naval War College.			Ikechuku attended Northwestern University on an athletic scholarship, winning a Big Ten Championship. He has played professional football for the Saints, Redskins, Ravens, Dolphins, Chiefs, and Chargers. More >			Chinedum attended the University of Notre Dame on an athletic scholarship and was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals, where he was a regular starter for four years. He is currently working on real estate development and assisting with the family business, Americare Healthcare Services.			Ezinne attended the University of Notre Dame and spent a year working as a Nephrology Department Research Assistant at Ohio State University. She is currently pursuing her Master's in Public Health at the University of Michigan.
